How The Stay-At-Home Order Affects Real Estate

On March 20th, the California Association of Realtors thankfully offered guidance to the CA real estate industry regarding Governor Gavin Newsom’s Stay-at-Home order. Under the mandate, Realtors are not considered exempt and are asked to cease doing face-to-face marketing or sales activities, including showings, listing appointments, open houses and property inspections.

As a CA Broker and leader in my community, I am taking this mandate seriously and will be complying with these regulations as we navigate the days ahead. Before this all began, I was in the middle of prepping many new listings, and writing offers almost daily for buyers who were hoping to finally find and secure their dream home or their next project. Many of my clients’ need to sell or buy hasn’t changed, even in light of the current environment.

But for now, a slight pause as we regroup as an industry. Moving forward, it will be critical to protect the health and well-being of our clients, friends, and community, especially as we devise and implement virtual marketing strategies in this unprecedented time.

I know in my heart that we will get through this stronger than ever before. I am excited for the challenge and I am grateful to be here with 18 years of experience under my belt and a burning desire to fight for the American dream.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or just want to talk. We are all navigating this together and we need one another more than ever. And with that being said, I am here for you, always!
